Graduated in business administration from Deusto University, Spain, and a degree in finance from ESCP, France, Andres also holds a master’s degree in local economic development from the London School of Economics.
He began his career as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs London, then became a strategy consultant at Accenture London. He then moved to ACS in Spain to deal with mergers and acquisitions.
In 2008, he joined Ferrovial where he was in charge of defining and implementing the company’s strategic plan, executing all mergers, and acquisitions, integrating new companies and internationalizing the Strategy and Corporate division in new countries. In 2019, he was appointed Director of the Mobility Division, reporting directly to the Group’s CEO.
