While the hydrogen car is primarily an electric car, the electricity that powers its engine usually comes from a fuel cell and not from a lithium-ion battery. But it is also possible to combine the two. Renault Kangoo Z.E. and Master Z.E. Hydrogen are powered by the battery, while the hydrogen fuel cell recharges it while driving. This increases the range and shortens the recharging time! Is this the smart solution to lift the range limit? How does it work?
