After studying electrical engineering and obtaining an MBA, Thomas spent several years working for Siemens in Erlangen, Singapore and Munich.
Thomas moved to Accenture as a ‘Certified Thinker’ in 1999, where he became the firm’s youngest partner worldwide in the course of its IPO. He headed up a large number of international restructuring and growth projects as well as various global initiatives in his role as Managing Partner for Strategy, M&A, and Energy and Natural Resources, before leaving in 2004 to set up his own business: The Advisory House, a strategic consultancy specializing in energy.
In 2009, inspired by what was technically possible and convinced that we are approaching the end of the age of fossil fuels, he founded The Mobility House, one of Europe’s first service companies for electric mobility. Today, Thomas works with a team of over 140 people dedicated to providing innovative energy services and storage solutions. The goal: to speed up the “Energiewende” and help electric mobility achieve a breakthrough.
