Carbon footprint

To calculate a vehicle’s carbon footprint, it is necessary to measure all carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions that result from the energy used for its production, operation and recycling. In the case of an electric car, the carbon count depends in large part on the source of the electricity that is used to recharge it. The carbon footprint is lower when the electricity is produced from renewable energy sources (solar, wind, etc.).
