PEC (Power Electronic Controller)

The Power Electronic Controller is a three-part unit that powers the electric car. It is comprised of the following: an interconnection box that distributes electric current to all the parts of the vehicle; an electronic power unit that distributes the electric current to the motor reducer (comprised of the electric motor and the mechanical reducer that transforms the gear ratio); and the Caméléon charger® developed by Renault, which pulls maximum power from all charging points that supply up to 22 kW (thus increasing the charging speed on standard public charging points). The combination of these three parts into a single unit reduces its total size by 25%.
